ART CONTEST
Responding to your calls for local talent to shine, we're thrilled to launch a label art competition for the upcoming release of our Tropical Rain Sour Ale. This initiative aims to spotlight the vibrant creativity within our community.
Tropical Rain Sour Ale makes a celebrated return as a Limited Re-Release. Crafted with an exquisite blend of pineapple, pomegranate, and strawberry, and balanced with a hint of lactose for smoothness, this 6.5% ABV sour ale is a tropical journey of tartness and fruitiness with every sip.
Competition Guidelines:
Our theme for this competition is steampunk, a nod to the brewery's steam-powered backbone and our commitment to innovation and creativity. From the whimsical to the adventurous, steampunk blends the historical with the futuristic, mirroring our location's heritage and our forward-thinking ethos.
We're looking for designs that:
Align with Shades' vibrant spirit and steampunk aesthetics.
Include a human element, reflecting our people-focused brand.
Feature a narrative, much like our Renegade label's Bonnie and Clyde or Cerberus label's mythological storytelling. Whether through heroes, animals, or fantastical beings, we invite you to weave tales that resonate and captivate.
Incorporate our three-panel label design, with the center panel highlighting the beer and its ingredients.
Submissions can be created by hand or digital tools like iPads, celebrating the handmade artistry and entries sent to info@shadesofpale.com. We welcome in process photos and tags on our social media.

Winner Announcement: May 3rd
Beer Release: June, 13th.
Prize:
The winner will be crowned a Shades Creator, receiving a $200 Shades gift certificate and feature across our social media and website, showcasing your talent to our enthusiastic audience.
