UTAH BEER TAXES ARE GOING UP

Bad news from the latest legislative session, and it's a tough pint to swallow 🍺💔. Alcohol taxes are on the rise again.  They’re raising taxes both at the manufacturing level and at the sales counter.   This impacts all of us in the community and the craft that we all cherish.

Does the state really need the money?  Utah entered 2023 with a $1.235 billion surplus in the income tax Fund and another $130 million in the general fund.   KSLTV sept 11. 2022
